The following companies may have unusual price changes in Spanish and Portuguese trading. Stock symbols are in parentheses and share prices are from the previous close.
Iberdrola SA (IBE) : Spain’s largest power company said in a filing it completed its share buyback program. The stock fell 0.3 percent to 6.20 euros.
Promotora de Informaciones SA (PRS) : The company known as Prisa said in a filing that 58,491 Class A new shares were approved for trading. It also said that 4,000 Class B shares converted into Class A shares were also admitted for trading. The stock retreated 1.8 percent to 1.61 euros.
Papeles & Cartones de Europa SA (PAC SM): The company known as Europac will pay a gross dividend of 0.0503 euros per share on July 8 from 2010 earnings, the company said in a regulatory filing. The stock rose 2.8 percent to 3.93 euros.
EDP-Energias de Portugal SA (EDP PL): The biggest power company in the country may be active after Portugal water reserves declined to 61 percent of the storage capacity as of July 3 compared with 63.4 percent a week ago, according to Lisbon-based grid operator REN-Redes Energeticas Nacionais SA. EDP stock rose 1.5 percent to 2.53 euros.
