Mauritius Development Trust Rises to 16-Year High on Dividend

Mauritius Development Investment Trust Co. rose to its highest intraday level since 1995 after announcing a final dividend for the year through June.

The stock rallied 0.1 rupee, or 1.8 percent, to 5.8 rupees at 11:35 a.m., in Port Louis, the capital.

MDIT, as the company is known, said after market closure yesterday that it will pay a final dividend of 0.21 rupee for the year ending June 30.
