Ivory Coast Eyes Oil Output of 12.4 Million Barrels, Reveil Says

Ivory Coast expects to produce 12.4 million barrels of crude oil in 2011, le Nouveau Reveil newspaper reported, citing the Finance Ministry’s annual budget.

Output of natural gas is forecast at 52.4 trillion British thermal units, according to the Abidjan-based newspaper, which printed a copy of the budget document today.

Charles Boa, a spokesman for the Finance Ministry, declined to comment when contacted.
