Laird Investors Seek Higher Cooper Offer, Sunday Times Reports

Laird Plc (LRD) investors said a bid of 210 pence ($3.36) a share would enable Cooper Industries Plc (CBE) to gain access to its books, the Sunday Times reported, citing unidentified shareholders.

An offer in the range of 220 pence to 240 pence may enable Cooper to take control of Laird, the London-based newspaper cited the shareholders as saying.
