German Regulator Unhappy With Risk Controls at Banks, FTD Says

German financial regulator Bafin may fine six banks with its lowest ratings because it’s unhappy with their risk controls, Financial Times Deutschland reported, without saying where it got the information.

Bafin wants at least one of the banks, which the FTD didn’t identify, to raise its equity capital, the newspaper said.
