Chubb Says April, May Storms Cost Insurer Up to $310 Million

Chubb Corp. (CB) the insurer of luxury homes and corporate boards, said storms in April and May will cost the company $250 million to $310 million before tax.

The natural disasters, including tornadoes, will cost 55 cents to 68 cents a share after tax in the second quarter, the Warren, New Jersey-based insurer said today in a statement distributed by PR Newswire.
