Sony-Starz Dispute Leaves Netflix Without Some Streaming Films

Netflix Inc. (NFLX), the film streaming and DVD rental service, said movies from Sony Corp. (6758) are temporarily unavailable for online viewing.

Sony and cable channel Starz, which supplies the movies to Netflix, have a disagreement over a contract, Pauline Fischer, vice president of content acuisition, said today in a post on Netflix’s website.
