Duta Graha, Inco, Sumalindo Lestari: Indonesia Equity Preview

Shares of the following companies may have unusual moves in Indonesian trading. Stock symbols are in parentheses, and share prices are as of the previous close.

The Jakarta Composite index (JCI) rose 0.2 percent to 3,844.02.

PT Duta Graha Indah (DGIK IJ): Asiariver Advisors Pte plans to buy a 20 percent stake in the property developer this week at a price of 120 rupiah to 150 rupiah a share, Investor Daily Indonesia reported, citing a person it didn’t identify. Duta Graha rose 0.8 percent to 120 rupiah.

PT International Nickel Indonesia (INCO IJ): Nickel output at the nation’s biggest producer of the metal will likely drop this year because of an expected 21-week shutdown of its production plant to rebuild a furnace, Kontan reported, citing President Director Tony Wenas. A 21-week shutdown may lead to a 13 percent drop in output, the report said. PT Inco, as the company is known, fell 0.5 percent to 4,775 rupiah.

PT Sumalindo Lestari Jaya (SULI IJ): The timber producer plans to sell as much as a 70 percent stake in PT Kalimantan Powerindo to help the unit develop its electricity generation business, Bisnis Indonesia reported, citing Sumalindo Corporate Secretary Hasnawiyah Kono. The stock was unchanged at 140 rupiah.
