Kenya’s Central Bank Says to Purchase 500 Million Shillings in Repos Today

Kenya’s central bank will purchase 500 million shillings through repurchase agreements today, a central bank official said.

The bank won’t make transactions in the foreign exchange market, the official, who can’t be named in line with the central bank’s policy, said by phone from Nairobi, the capital.
