Infineon Technologies to Spend $288 Million to Expand Singapore Production

Infineon Technologies AG (IFX), Europe’s second largest maker of semiconductors, will invest 200 million euros in Singapore in the coming three to five years as it expands its production capacity and research and development facilities, according to a statement handed out at a press briefing in the city-state today.

That’s on top of 50 million euros the company plans to invest in Singapore this year, Chief Executive Officer Peter Bauer said at the briefing today.
