General Electric Co. (GE) will build a $250 million plant to build and repair turbines for power generators in Saudi Arabia, GE Energy CEO John Krenicki said.
The plant in Damman will serve the company’s clients in the Kingdom, Krenicki told reporters in the Saudi city. GE has 500 turbines in Saudi Arabia, supplying about 50 percent of the country’s power, he said.
