ICT, Dexia, Kardan May Be Active: Benelux Equity Market Preview

The following companies may have unusual price changes in Benelux markets. Stock symbols are in parentheses and prices are from the previous close.

The AEX-Index (AEX) in Amsterdam rose 0.5 percent to 346.06. Belgium’s Bel20 Index was little changed at 2,655.64. The Luxembourg LuxX Index (LUXXX) added 1 percent to 1,417.08.

Dutch stocks:

ICT Automatisering NV (ICT) : The Dutch software maker is scheduled to host its annual shareholders’ meeting and may comment on its outlook. ICT increased 5.7 percent to 4.97 euros.

Kardan NV (KARD) : The Dutch-Israeli investor is scheduled to report first-quarter results before the start of trading. Kardan rose 1.7 percent to 3.732 euros.

Belgian stocks:

Dexia SA (DEXB) : The bank to local governments that was rescued by France and Belgium in 2008 won’t give bonuses to its top management for 2011 or pay out any dividends because of an expected loss, De Standaard reported, citing Chairman Jean-Luc Dehaene. Dexia advanced 4.8 percent to 2.552 euros.
