Guy Hands’s Terra Firma Sets Deadline for Odeon Bids, Times Says

Guy Hands’s Terra Firma Capital Partners Ltd. has set a June 3 deadline for bids for the U.K. cinema chain Odeon, the Sunday Times reported, without saying where it obtained the information.

Private-equity firm BC Partners Ltd. is preparing an offer with the Ontario Municipal Employees Retirement System, a Canadian pension fund, the newspaper said. Hands hopes to sell Odeon for more than 1.2 billion pounds ($2 billion), the Times reported.
