Afri-Can Finds Diamonds off Namibian Coast, Business Times Says

Afri-Can Marine Minerals Corp. (AFA), which is planning to list its shares on the Johannesburg Stock Exchange this year, recovered 84 diamonds during sampling off the Namibian coast, Business Times reported, citing Chief Executive Officer Pierre Leveille.

The Montreal-based company discovered the gems, weighing as much as 1.6 carats, during sampling in the southern section of its 800 square kilometer marine mining concession area, the newspaper said, citing Leveille.
