Epistar Shares Surges Most in Two Months After Cree, Nichia Orders Report

Epistar Corp. (2448) surges most in two months in Taipei trading after the Economic Daily News cited an unidentified manager at the company as saying it got orders from Cree Inc. and Nichia Corp.

The stock jumped 6.6 percent to NT$91.70 as of 11:08 a.m., set for the biggest advance since March 7. Shie-Shien Chang, spokesman for Epistar, didn’t answer calls to his office.
