Siemens, Prysmian in Contract to Boost Manhattan’s Power Supply

Siemens AG (SIE)’s technology will link the power-supply networks of New Jersey and New York starting in the summer of 2013, the German company said in an e-mailed statement today.

Siemens said it will supply technology and Prysmian Cables & Systems will supply the cable. The total contract value for the consortium of Siemens and Prysmian is about $400 million.
