Unison of South Korea Jumps by Daily Limit on Toshiba’s Investment Plan

Unison Co. jumped by the daily limit in Seoul trading after Toshiba Corp. (6502) said it agreed to acquire 40 billion won of convertible bonds in the South Korean company to enter the wind power business. Unison surged 15 percent to 5,310 won as of 9:15 a.m. on the Korea Exchange. The benchmark Kospi Index fell 0.3 percent.
