Israeli Stocks: Blue Square, Sapiens, TAT Technologies

Israel’s TA-25 Index climbed for a fourth day, increasing 0.2 percent to 1,293.24 at the 4:30 p.m. close in Tel Aviv, taking the weekly gain to 0.2 percent. Investors traded about 1.3 billion shekels ($373 million) in shares and convertible securities.

The following stocks rose or fell today. Symbols are in parentheses.

Blue Square Real Estate Ltd. (BLSR) slid to the lowest level since Dec. 9, retreating 2.8 percent to 86.85 shekels. The property company said first-quarter net income dropped 36 percent to 23.5 million shekels from a year earlier.

Sapiens International Corp. N.V. (SPNS IT) advanced 5.4 percent, the most since April 5, to 11.95 shekels. The information-technology company yesterday received a 1.63 million Swiss-franc ($1.8 million) contract from Allianz Suisse.

TAT Technologies Ltd. (TATT) rose for the second time this week, jumping 4.2 percent to 18.91 shekels. The maker of defense systems said first-quarter net income doubled to $1.5 million.
