European Union May Boost Milk, Cheese Production, USDA Unit Says

The European Union’s fluid-milk production may rise to 140.62 million metric tons this year, from 139.37 million in 2010, according to a unit of the U.S. Department of Agriculture.
EU cheese output may climb to 7.05 million tons this year, from 6.97 million last year, the USDA’s Foreign Agricultural Service said in a report posted today on its website.
