Schaeuble to Examine Greece Debt Report ‘Closely,’ FAS Reports

German Finance Minister Wolfgang Schaeuble said he will examine the report being prepared for June on Greece’s debt-tackling progress “especially closely,” the Frankfurter Allgemeine Sonntagszeitung reported.

Schaeuble told the newspaper that private creditors should participate in future euro area bailouts within the framework of the European Stability Mechanism, according to an e-mailed version of the story to be published tomorrow.
