Tokuyama to Spend $135 Million to Build Polysilicon Plant in Yamaguchi

Tokuyama Corp. (4043) will invest 11 billion yen ($135 million) to build a plant in Yamaguchi prefecture, western Japan, to raise production capacity of polysilicon.

Tokuyama expects to complete construction of the plant in the first half of 2013, the Japanese industrial chemicals maker said in a statement to the Tokyo Stock Exchange today.
