Eurocommercial, Galapagos, WDP: Benelux Equity Market Preview

The following companies may have unusual price changes in Benelux markets. Stock symbols are in parentheses, and prices are from the previous close.

The AEX-Index (AEX) in Amsterdam declined 3.03, or 0.8 percent, to 357.52. Belgium’s Bel20 Index gained 2.73, or 0.1 percent, to 2,722.04. Luxembourg’s LuxX Index fell 0.3 percent to 1,437.51.

Dutch stocks:

Eurocommercial Properties NV (ECMPA) : The Dutch owner of shopping centers in France and Italy may report fiscal third- quarter earnings excluding some items of 47 cents a share, according to the average of four analyst estimates compiled by Bloomberg. Eurocommercial was unchanged at 35.10 euros.

Grontmij NV (GRONT) : The Dutch designer of roads and bridges reports first-quarter earnings before the start of trading. Grontmij rose 0.5 percent to 15.60 euros.

Belgian stocks:

Connect Group NV (CONN BB): The Belgian contract maker of electronics for clients including Barco NV reported first- quarter profit of 1 million euros and said its order backlog rose to 73 million euros as customers brought forward orders on concern they will face a shortage of components. Connect Group (CONN) was unchanged at 2.20 euros.

Galapagos NV (GLPG) : The drug-discovery company that halted a test of an experimental rheumatoid-arthritis medicine last month gives a first-quarter trading update before the start of trading. Galapagos declined 0.3 percent to 10 euros.

Warehouses De Pauw CVA (WDP BB): Belgium’s third-biggest real-estate investment fund is scheduled to report first-quarter earnings before the market opens. WDP lost 0.4 percent to 39.62 euros.
