Takeda Pharmaceutical is said to be in talks to acquire Swiss drugmaker Nycomed. Nissan is among a long list of companies reporting earnings today. Drugmakers Astellas and Daiichi Sankyo report before the close of trading. Japan’s current account surplus is expected to have dropped in March, after the earthquake that month cut exports.
