Mauritian Eagle Insurance Profit Increases in Third Quarter, Premiums Rise

Mauritian Eagle Insurance Co. (MEI) said third-quarter profit increased to 19.8 million rupee from 14.4 million rupees a year earlier.

Gross premiums rose to 165.8 million rupees in the three months through March compared with 164.9 million rupees, the Port Louis-based company said in a statement on the Stock Exchange of Mauritius’s website today.
