Eutelsat, Havas, Maurel&Prom, Rubis: French Stock Preview
The following is a list of companies whose stocks may have unusual changes in Paris. Symbols are in parentheses after company names and prices are from the last close.
Alten (ATE FP): The provider of telecommunications services said first-quarter revenue rose 17 percent to 261.5 million euros. The shares slid 0.7 percent to 28.26 euros.
April Group (APR) : The manager and distributor or insurance said first-quarter revenue was unchanged from a year earlier at 184.1 million euros. The shares slid 0.1 percent to 20.98 euros.
Devoteam SA (DVT) : The telecommunications services company said first-quarter sales rose to 133.8 million euros from 116.8 million euros. The shares rose 2.5 percent to 20.30 euros.
Eutelsat Communications (ETL) SA: The world’s third- largest satellite company said it had third-quarter revenue of 295.2 million euros, up 10 percent from year-earlier levels. Eutelsat also raised its full-year revenue forecast to more than 1.16 billion euros. The shares fell 0.1 percent to 29.77 euros.
GL Events (GLO) SA: The company that offers exhibition fixtures and services said it’s selling its Sodes stake to Comexposium. GL Events said the divestiture won’t affect 2011 sales forecasts. The shares rose 2.4 percent to 27 euros.
Kindy (KIND) SA: The French maker of branded socks said nine-month sales rose to 32.4 million euros from 30.2 million euros. The shares jumped 7.5 percent to 8.6 euros.
Nexity SA (NXI) : The property-management services company posted first-quarter revenue of 559 million euros, little changed from a year earlier. The shares rose 2 percent to 36.40 euros.
Etablissements Maurel & Prom SA (MAU FP): The French oil explorer had first-quarter revenue of 137.2 million euros, compared with 49 million euros a year earlier. The shares fell 0.5 percent to 14.73 euros.
Rubis (RUI) SA: The distributor of liquefied petroleum gas said first-quarter revenue rose 22 percent to 426 million euros. The shares rose 0.4 percent to 82.49 euros.
Theolia (TEO FP): The developer of wind energy projects posted a 34 percent drop in first-quarter revenue to 13.9 million euros. The shares were unchanged at 1.31 euros.
VM Materiaux (VMMA FP): The manufacturer of building materials said first-quarter revenue increased 17 percent to 171.3 million euros. The shares fell 1.4 percent to 45.29 euros.
