Chevron Pascagoula Refinery Had ‘Isolated’ Fire in Crude Unit

Chevron Corp. (CVX)’s Pascagoula refinery in Mississippi had a fire in a crude unit early today, Katherine Swetman, a company spokewoman, said in a telephone interview.

The fire was put out at about 6:30 a.m. local time, and there were no injuries, Swetman said. Swetman declined to comment on whether the crude unit was shut.
