Star Defence Soars Most in 3 Months on India Government Order

Star Defence Systems Ltd. (SDS) jumped the most in three months after the maker of night-vision equipment won a contract from India’s defense ministry for systems valued at 153 million shekels ($45 million).

The shares surged 14 percent, the biggest increase since Feb. 7, to 1.37 shekels at 11:59 a.m. in Tel Aviv, giving the Petach Tikva, Israel-based company a market value of 93 million shekels.
