Saint-Gobain, Renault, Vinci: French Equity Preview

The following is a list of companies whose stocks may have unusual changes in Paris. Symbols are in parentheses after company names and prices are from the last close.

France’s CAC 40 Index rose 37.18, or 0.9 percent, to 4,104.90 in Paris. The SBF 120 Index also rose 0.9 percent.

Cie. de Saint-Gobain (SGO FP): The building materials producer said first-quarter revenue rose to 9.8 billion euros ($14.5 billion) from 8.7 billion euros and reiterated 2011 forecasts. The shares rose 0.3 percent to 47.16 euros.

Norbert Dentressangle SA (GND) : The logistics company said revenue increased 9.3 percent to 750 million euros and profitability improved in the first quarter. The shares rose 0.5 percent to 76.52 euros.

Renault SA (RNO) : The French automaker said it reached a compensation settlement with three executives it wrongfully accused of espionage. The shares rose 0.6 percent to 40.68 euros.

Saft Groupe SA (SAFT) : The battery maker said first- quarter revenue rose 11 percent to 150.7 million euros. The shares rose 0.1 percent to 31.27 euros.

Vinci SA (DG) : The construction company said first- quarter revenue rose 25 percent to 7.87 billion euros. The shares rose 1.4 percent to 44.76 euros.
