Russia, Denmark Sign Deals of $775 Million During Putin Visit

Russia and Denmark signed deals worth at least $775 million during an official visit by Prime Minister Vladimir Putin to his Danish counterpart Lars Loekke Rasmussen.

The contracts include a letter of intent between Russian gas-export monopoly Gazprom OAO (GAZP) and state-owned Danish Oil and Natural Gas company DONG Energy A/S on extending the use of the fuel in Europe, according to a joint statement released today.

FLSmidth & Co. A/S earlier today said it expects to sign agreements on future cooperation with two Russian clients for 270 million euros ($395 million).
