Shinsei Bank Resolves Problem With ATMs, Internet Banking

Shinsei Bank Ltd. (8303) said it resolved a computer system malfunction that caused problems with some of its automated teller machines and Internet banking services this morning.

The glitch began at 10:14 a.m. Japan time, Shinsei said in a statement on its website. It was fixed by 11:35 a.m., Eiji Otaka, a spokesman for the Tokyo-based lender, said by phone.
