Mercedes A-, B-Class May Be Built in China, Automobilwoche Says

April 16 (Bloomberg) --Daimler AG (DAI) may build the next- generation Mercedes A- and B-Class vehicles in China, Ulrich Walker, chief executive officer of the company’s northeast Asia region, said in a preview of an interview with Automobilwoche to be published on April 18.

Daimler aims to produce 200,000 vehicles annually in China by 2015, double its current production, and further increase its profitability there, Walker said in the interview.
