Berlusconi Is ‘Innocent’ in Bribe Trial, Mills Tells Repubblica

Italian Prime Minister Silvio Berlusconi is “innocent” in a trial where he’s accused of bribing U.K. lawyer David Mills to lie on his behalf under oath, Mills told daily la Repubblica.

“The only witness who can say that he’s guilty is me and I say he’s innocent,” Mills said in the interview with the daily. “I’m ready to answer questions in court if I’m called to testify.”
