Antonov, Kinepolis, Omega Pharma: Benelux Equity Market Preview

The following companies may have unusual price changes in Benelux markets. Stock symbols are in parentheses, and prices are from the previous close.

The AEX-Index (AEX) in Amsterdam declined 3.28, or 0.9 percent, to 359.48. Belgium’s Bel20 Index (BEL20) fell 24.18, or 0.9 percent, to 2,695. Luxembourg’s LuxX Index (LUXXX) lost 0.6 percent to 1,429.30.

Dutch stocks:

Antonov Plc (ATVAM NA): The developer of a six-speed automatic vehicle transmission said Interim Chief Financial Officer Mory Motabar resigned. Jackie David, finance director at Antonov’s main operating unit, will take over his operational responsibilities. Antonov was unchanged at 12 cents.

Belgian stocks:

Kinepolis Group NV (KIN) : Kinohold Bis SA, which groups most of the Bert family’s holding in Belgium’s biggest movie-theater operator, bought an additional 39,897 Kinepolis shares for an average 55.50 euros apiece, according to a regulatory filing. Kinepolis advanced 0.5 percent to 55.38 euros.

Omega Pharma NV (OME BB): Belgium’s biggest supplier of pharmacy products said first-quarter sales rose 7.8 percent to 217.8 million euros ($315.6 million), missing the 218.8 million-euro average estimate of three analysts surveyed by Bloomberg News. Revenue growth excluding acquisitions slowed to 3.5 percent. Omega Pharma dropped 1.3 percent to 34.67 euros.
