Asim Ghosh Sells Stake in Vodafone Essar, Economic Times Reports

Asim Ghosh, the former chief executive officer of Vodafone Group Plc (VOD)’s Indian joint venture with Essar Group, sold his entire stake in Vodafone Essar Ltd., the Economic Times reported today, citing a person it didn’t identify.

Ghosh sold his 2.38 percent stake to Analjit Singh, chairman of Max India Ltd. (MAX), a few months ago, according to the newspaper. A spokesman for the London-based Vodafone confirmed Ghosh sold his stake without identifying the buyer, it said.
