AB InBev, Delta Lloyd, Retail Estates: Benelux Equity Preview

The following companies may have unusual price changes in Benelux markets. Stock symbols are in parentheses, and prices are from the previous close.

The AEX-Index (AEX) in Amsterdam retreated 0.54, or 0.2 percent, to 366.40. Belgium’s Bel20 Index lost less than 0.1 percent to 2,721.23. Luxembourg’s LuxX Index fell 0.9 percent to 1,461.61.

Dutch stocks:

Delta Lloyd NV (DL) : Aviva Plc said it plans to sell about 25 million shares of the Dutch insurer in a private placement that’s being managed by Morgan Stanley and Goldman Sachs Group Inc. as Britain’s second-biggest insurer cedes majority control of company it took public in 2009. Delta Lloyd dropped 1.9 percent to 18.99 euros.

Belgian stocks:

Anheuser-Busch InBev NV (ABI) : AB InBev Zone President Luiz Fernando Edmond, who heads the world’s largest brewer’s operations in North America, sold 43,000 of the beermaker’s shares for an average of 40.87 euros apiece in trades on Euronext Brussels, according to a regulatory filing. AB InBev advanced 0.8 percent to 41.27 euros.

Retail Estates NV (RET) : Belgium’s biggest owner of out- of-town stores agreed to buy commercial properties generating annual rental income of 275,000 euros ($397,000) from KBC Group NV’s insurance unit Fidea NV for 4.29 million euros in stock. Retail Estates declined 0.5 percent to 48.37 euros.
