Canada Regulators Plan New Rules on High-Speed Trading, National Post Says

Canadian regulators are planning to take the first steps towards introducing new rules on high-speed electronic trading, perhaps as early as today, the National Post reported, citing unidentified people familiar with the plans.
Regulators also plan stricter monitoring of direct market access to exchanges, known as “unfiltered” or “naked access,” the Post reported.
