Norwegian Air Says Will Inspect 13 Boeing 737-300s for Cracks

Norwegian Air Shuttle AS (NAS), Europe’s fourth-largest discount carrier, said it will inspect 13 Boeing 737-300s for potential cracks after a Southwest Airlines Co. plane split open last week.

“We’ll start the inspections as soon as possible,” spokeswoman Asa Larsson said by telephone today. “It won’t affect our traffic schedule as we’ll do the inspections at night.”
