Mexico’s ICH May Acquire Additional Steel Plants, Santander Says

Industrias CH SAB, Mexico’s largest steelmaker, is considering making a “few other acquisitions” after it said Monday that it bought two steel plants from closely-held BCS Industries of Memphis, Tennessee. The plants, located in Memphis and Cleveland, will add 3 percent to ICH’s installed capacity, Santander said.

ICH rose 0.6 percent to 47.89 pesos at 11:38 a.m. in New York.
