Limuru Tea of Kenya's Full-Year Profit Almost Triples as Leaf Sales Surge
Limuru Tea Co., a Kenyan grower of the leaves, said full-year profit almost tripled as sales increased.
Net income surged to 74.8 million shillings ($894,700) in the 12 months through December, from 27 million shillings a year earlier, the Nairobi-based company said in a statement e-mailed by the city’s stock exchange today. Revenue climbed 36 percent to 123.9 million shillings, it said.
