Kandan, Kinepolis, Miko, Co.Br.Ha: Benelux Equity Preview
The following companies may have unusual price changes in Benelux markets. Stock symbols are in parentheses and prices are from the previous close.
Kardan NV (KARD) : The Dutch-Israeli investor in real estate, insurers and infrastructure projects is scheduled to report full-year results before the market opens. Kardan fell 0.8 percent to 3.95 euros.
Fluxys (FLUX) SA: Caisse de Depot & Placement du Quebec bought a 10 percent stake in Fluxys G, the largest shareholder of Belgium’s natural-gas grid manager, through a 150 million- euro capital increase. Fluxys rose 1.9 percent to 2,600 euros.
Kinepolis Group NV (KIN) : Belgium’s biggest movie- theater operator plans to seek shareholder approval to reduce its share capital by 30 million euros and to repurchase as many as 1.1 million shares. Kinepolis fell 0.4 percent to 52.52 euros.
Miko (MIKO) NV: The Belgian coffee-service provider and maker of plastic food containers said net income last year fell to 7.68 million euros from 7.93 million euros as higher oil prices pushed up the cost of plastic. Miko kept its gross dividend unchanged at 96 cents a share. The shares were unchanged at 49.25 euros.
Societe Anonyme Belge de Constructions Aeronautiques (SAB BB): The maker of aircraft parts said net income rose to 16.4 million euros last year from 12.5 million euros in 2009. Sales fell 6 percent to 135 million euros. The company raised its gross dividend 16 percent to 88 cents a share. The stock last traded on March 29, when it fell 1.2 percent to 27.17 euros.
Societe Commerciale de Brasserie SA (COBH BB): The brewer of Primus and Tongerlo beers said this year’s net income could be lower than the 7.71 million euros reported for 2010, as raw- material and energy costs will weigh on the results. Shares of Co.Br.Ha, as the brewer is known, rose 0.3 percent to 1,675 euros.
