Florida Beats Brigham Young, Connecticut Defeats San Diego State in NCAA

The University of Florida beat Brigham Young University 83-74 in overtime in college basketball’s national men’s championship.

The second-ranked Gators advance to a meeting with Butler or Wisconsin in the Southeast Regional final at the National Collegiate Athletic Association tournament.

Also tonight, the University of Connecticut beat San Diego State University 74-67 to advance to a meeting with defending champion and No. 1 seed Duke or fifth-ranked Arizona in the West Regional final.
