Falcon's South African Shale Bid in Advanced Stage, Business Report Says

Falcon Oil & Gas Ltd. (FO)’s application to explore for shale gas in South Africa’s Karoo is at an advanced stage, Business Report said, citing Steve Mills, the technical compliance manager of the Petroleum Agency of South Africa.

Applications by Royal Dutch Shell Plc (RDSA) and Sasol Ltd. (SOL) may take longer to process, the Johannesburg-based newspaper cited Mills as saying.
