Beijing’s Second Airport to Open in 2016, Shanghai Daily Reports

Beijing Capital International Airport Co. will begin work on a second airport in China’s capital this year, with operations scheduled to start in 2016, Shanghai Daily said, citing General Manager Zhang Guanghui.

The Bejing municipal government will invest in the second airport, the English-language newspaper reported today. Zhang declined to say how much money the city will provide.
