Argo Says New Zealand Earthquake May Cost as Much as $45 Million

Argo Group International Holdings Ltd. (AGII), the Bermuda-based insurer, said the Christchurch, New Zealand, earthquake last month may cost the company $35 million to $45 million.

It’s too early to project losses from the March 11 earthquake and tsunami in Japan, the company said today in a statement distributed by Business Wire.
