Spot Gold Drops 0.5% to $1,418.80 an Ounce; Silver Declines

Gold for immediate delivery declined 0.5 percent to $1,418.80 an ounce at 10:41 a.m. in Singapore today. Cash silver weakend 0.7 percent to $35.68 an ounce, while palladium and platinum also fell 0.9 percent to $739.75 and $1,738.88 respectively.
