Sanchez Says Labor Concerns Won’t Stop Two Free Trade Agreements

Concerns that Colombia and Panama haven’t done enough to protect organized labor leaders don’t threaten free-trade agreements with those nations, said Francisco Sanchez, under secretary of Commerce for international trade.
“We’re confident we’ll have the issues resolved this year,” Sanchez said today in Washington at a hearing of the House Energy and Commerce subcommittee on commerce, manufacturing and trade.
