Arch Capital Says New Zealand Quake Losses May Be $70 Million

Arch Capital Group Ltd. (ACGL), the Bermuda-based insurer and reinsurer, said its losses from last month’s Christchurch, New Zealand, earthquake may be as much as $70 million.

The loss will be at least $35 million, the company said today in a statement distributed by Business Wire.
