EU Refers Part of Xella, H+H Deal Review to German Merger Agency

European Union regulators said Germany’s antitrust agency will rule on the main part of Xella International GmbH’s bid for wall buildings materials rival H+H International A/S.

The European Commission said in a statement today the “principal effects” of the deal would be in Germany and Germany’s Federal Cartel Office “seems well placed to examine the case.”
