Turkey’s benchmark ISE National 100 index (XU100) rose 1,084.07, or 1.8 percent, to 61,301.65 yesterday.
Anadolu Cam Sanayii AS (ANACM) : The Turkish glassmaker will build a furnace with annual capacity of 120,000 tons in the city of Bursa, it said in a statement to the Istanbul Stock Exchange after the market closed yesterday. Anadolu Cam gained 5 kurus, of 1.7 percent, to 2.99 liras.
BIM Birlesik Magazalar AS (BIMAS) : The Turkish discount supermarket chain said profit last year rose to 245.6 million liras from 212.9 million liras in 2009, according to a statement to the bourse after the close yesterday. The 2010 net income exceeded an average estimate of 237.4 million liras in a Bloomberg survey 23 analysts. BIM rose 50 kurus, or 1 percent, to 51.50 liras.
Petrol Ofisi (PTOFS) AS: Turkey’s biggest fuel retailer’s free float dropped to 3.02 percent from 4.28 percent as OMV AG raised its stake in the company to 96.98 percent from 95.72 percent, Petrol Ofisi said in a statement to the bourse after the close yesterday. Petrol Ofisi fell 24 kurus, or 3.3 percent, to 7.04 liras.
