NunaMinerals Finds Greenlandic Gold, Copper in Inglefield Land

NunaMinerals A/S, which in 2009 signed a partnership deal with Rio Tinto plc, said it has identified 14 copper and gold targets in its Inglefield Land deposit in Greenland.

Drainage geochemistry tests have also revealed there may be rare earth elements at the site, NunaMinerals said. Rock samples from the area contain as much as 1.3 percent copper and 12.5 grams of gold per metric ton, the company said.
